CLASSROOM DRESS CODE:  No street or baggy clothes permitted in any class other than Hip Hop!
 
"To Feel Like A Dancer, You Must Look Like A Dancer"
 

Wearing proper dance attire and shoes is essential to your child's learning.  It is very important that your teacher can see your body alignment in order to correct your technique and give you the proper training.  HAIR must always be pulled away from the face. 

STUDENTS WHO DO NOT FOLLOW THE DRESS CODE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS.

 
DANCE ATTIRE AND SHOE REQUIREMENT:  Pre-school (three, four and five years):  Pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes.  Pink, white or black ballet skirts may also be worn.
 

First grade (6 years) and up:  Any color leotard and tights.  Dance shorts, jazz pants or skirts may also be worn.  Form fitting dance camisoles are ok.

ABSOLUTELY NO BAGGY T-SHIRTS, JACKETS OR SWEATSHIRTS.

 

Hip Hop:  Dance pants, dance shorts, camisoles and t-shirts are acceptable

SHOES:  (Ballet, Jazz and Tap)...Pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes and black jazz shoes.  Students studying lyrical are required to purchase a pair of lyrical sandals.  All pointe students must be professionally fitted with a pair of pink pointe shoes.  LE JAZZ in Nashville or SPELLS in Green Hills are highly recommended.
 
Small earrings may be worn during class.  No other jewelry is allowed.
